Following our successful rebrand of Victoria Bath’s in 2011, we’ve continued to work closely with the Victoria Baths Trust in realising the digital strand of their marketing strategy to attract wider audiences, and to clearly convey the range of uses for Manchester’s iconic Water Palace.
Connecting our knowledge of the Trust’s target audiences with our digital specialism for this sector, we looked to create a new website with a brighter, more vibrant and modern approach, further presenting the dynamic nature of the Victoria Baths brand and the experiences that the building has to offer on a local, national and international scale.
The website communicates the progress of Britain’s best loved restoration project (as voted for on the BBC) as well as promoting a full and diverse what’s on programme of events and activities across the 2012 season with events including Open Days, Vintage Fairs, Fanzine Conventions and even an indoor beach! The CMS enables the Trust to react quickly to publicise new events, an important feature for a venue which wants to market itself as a readily available space for hire.
A rich tapestry of images ranging from historical references to modern-day snaps, share the stories of Victoria Baths online. Medals, costumes, documents and even Barry Gibb’s album cover are displayed in an online archive. The website also aims to drive support, presenting corporate and private hire possibilities, as well as volunteering, donation and fundraising opportunities. The Trust can easily and effectively ensure online content remains relevant, interesting and on-brand.
The new website, season print and visual identity created for Victoria Baths demonstrates our effective support for a charitable Trust in raising their marketing game to achieve their long-term goals. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch this jewel in Manchester’s architectural history buzz with life once more.
"We are thrilled to be launching our new website which brings our online presence into the new Victoria Baths brand. It is a big step forward for us as we implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Baths in which, of course, digital marketing plays a really important part. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work Wonder have carried out for us – for the first time the multiple aspects of our offer to visitors, users and supporters are really clearly presented.” Gill Wright, Project Manager, Victoria Baths
